Default help! my TT won't start

This sucks. I go outside friday mourning to start my tt and it cranks start up for like 2-4 seconds then it dies. Tried to start it about 15 times with no luck. I finally got it started after trying about 10 more times by slightly holding the gas so it would hold @2500 -3000 rpm. It was fine all day until saturday mourning when i went to start it and it happened again. I took it right to the dealer i got it from(I bought this thing 2 weeks ago it is an 01 225 coupe with 45000 miles) They gave e a rental and said they would look at it. Any idea's on what it might be would be appriciated, i don't want to have to get rid of my tt Thanks in advance Jay

Should still be under some sort of warranty, let them fix it.

Default It could be anything from the alternator to....

something with the fuel system (bad coil packs, injectors, etc). The coil packs are a recall item and if it's determined they are the cause, Audi should hook you up with new ones. Without a VAGCOM to show what codes the car is throwing it's almost impossible to troubleshoot that issue. Let us know how it all turns out.

No check engine light is present and the car will run if you try to start it enough times and once it is warm i do not have any problems at all. Theat is why it has me stumped. i'll definately keep you guys informed.
