Help: What tools are needed for strut/spring replacement

Wanted to do the swap this weekend. Besides the spring compressor, anything unusual I should get my hands on?

TIA

7mm hex wrench, a spark plug socket with the hex design on the exterior of it so you can

put the hex wrench thru it and dismantle the struct, sorry I forget the size...This eliminates the need for the special VAG tool for the job.
Heavy Hammer, couple of jacks.
Stubby screwdriver that can be sacrificed in opening the lower control arm strut mounting point, used in conjunction with a pair of vice grips, Oh yeah Torque wrench and lock tight red.

Explanation.........

Mike and I were suddenly overcome with some serious munchies. Unfortunately the pie was cold. We weren't in the mood for cold pie, hence the shovel which facilitated shoving the pie in the fire. Munchies conquered............for about 15 minutes;-)
