Default interesting, and I assume there is some sort of mechanism

that runs through it (ie, spring engaged button) to shift gears?

Default I'd like to see one that uses the MOMO leather boot...

since the shifter as a whole isn't terribly attractive and since the 'gear position' selected is shown on the center dash display. I have a 3.2 on order and have been thinking about what to do about the shifter - a Raffi **** and a boot seems the ideal solution. The stock rubber boot would be even better, but I don't think it will support the long throw of the shifter (from P to S). A top-mounted release button, recessed properly, could look great as well as minimizing the mods needed from the current design.
