Heres a question...

I went down to the dealer to make an appointment for my 15k service, only the lady told me that my "particular model" didn't need a full maintenance service just an oil change, then she said that the full services are a 5k, 10k ,20k 30k and so on in 10k intervals, but to get the oi changed every 5k miles. my question, Is this true, from what I heard before when I first got my baby the regular service was every 6 months or 5 thousand miles whichever came first. Does anybody know whos right?

I was told by the dealer the same intervals that you were but it was "highly recommended" to change

oil and rotate the tires every 5k which I agree with but they are not covered in the free service

5,10,20... for 2001 - up models

tire rotation always recommanded during service. i would schedule an oil-filter change @ 15k, but...not really necassary as this is not a recommended service by audi!
