Oh, just ask away.
I've just been compiling pics from todays little event that I was involved in(see post directly below). Oh, and unloading my car from last nights race. Big excitement, huh?
Jason Dale

I saw that! That looked like SO much fun! How did you do in last
night's race? Place first, I hope? OH, BTW, I was going to tell you this a few days ago but got caught up in packing... I saw three Lambo Diablos
in Valencia, all at the Mall! I think they were
doing a shoot with them at the Santa Clarita Studios, but it was so cool to park next to them in the valet area! I did like the fact that people came to look at MY car too! Heehee!

Last nights race and other musings...
Well, I couldn't do a repeat of the race 2 weeks ago, so I placed second. It was my first race on an as-yet untested wheel/tire combo, so I was getting used to them throughout the night.
Yes, I know about those photo shoot things with the Lambos, I've done a few also.
Also, I've had a TT on the showroom with Lambos, Ferraris etc... and it holds its own just fine in the gawk awards.
Jason Dale

I'm sorry you got second, but that's still not bad! What was up with the tires?
New tire/wheel combo? Size difficulties or just
handling adjustments? What time did you finally
get to sleep this morning?

Well, let's see if I can really bore you here.
Since I've raced this car(4 years), I've always run drag slicks at the track. This is kind of a pain in the *** since I have to put them on when I get there among the other things that I have to do to get ready for racing. I finally got a good sponsor a few weeks ago and they told me that they would buy me any wheel/tire combo that I wanted. I decided to go with a DOT legal street slick, meaning same tire compund as my slicks, just with a rudimentary tread pattern. Therefore i could just run them on the street as well.
The downside here is that they don't bit nearly as hard as my slicks, so when I would normally launch off the line at about 4000RPM, I had to get down to about 2600. This was the learning curve that I was dealing with on Friday.
Anyway, I got to sleep around 2am after reading a bit just so I could get up at 6am to go hangliding. And yourself?
Jason Dale
