Default hey for all you chiped folks, have you had this prob??

On the freeway, i can down shift to 3rd, and punchit, NO power, its slugish, but i get into 4th and damn im catchin right back up and passin you. Whats up with 3rd?? Im X-chiped, FMIC but the chip isnt programed for the IC, could that be a reason?? and at the track, when we put ice water on the IC i ran slower times, like 15's, not 14's ya know.

Just a question, that no one ive talked to can figure out

thankx

Default also do 1 of 2 things.. or both..

-Buy a boost gauge (imo, a must if your going to mod your car and drive it hard)
-buy a vag tool

Because of my boost gauge I was able to confirm a lose in power.. So I hooked up the vag, and do some runs..

Default Me too!!!

Hey LightWeight.. I would like someone to explain to me how to use the VAG tool to download info from the car, and then translate it into viewable form.
Any help would be appreciated.

Default is your boost gauge in a location that you can look at it and the road?

next time this happens (you feel a power lose at 5000rpms) look at the gauge.. next time yoiu have a chance go out for a drive.. hook up your vag and do exactly what it takes to reproduce your problem.. im not sure what blocks you want.. I did 002 003 and 115...
