Default Hey another timing belt question...I'm at the dealers getting it inspected >>

03, 225 Coupe. 45,000miles.
They are saying they will only check if it needs to be replaced but they probably will recommend to change it as the car is actually made in 2002. I still would have to pay $1300 (which I don't think is that bad from dealership). I will get my belt changed along with the water pump (of course) but not with the dealership. However aren't they supposed to change it if they recommend to. I guess they won't show this in paper.
Your speedy expertise will be appreciated, I'm at the dealership using their internet

You mention water pump, but tensioner needs to be changed as well.
