Default Hey, Jeff, a question about your Passport radar installation . . .

After having the suction cups on my Passport 8500 pop free from the glass a few times, I thought it might be nice if the detector could be mounted on some sort of bracket similar to the OEM phone bracket, and mounted under the dash grille. I can't tell from your photos, but is there something there that such a bracket could attach to?

It would be nice if it was on an arm of sorts that could be swung up, locked into place, but then lowered and "hidden" in the grille when not in use. Any thoughts on whether this is feasible or not?

I don't think that's feasible, not a lot of room there.

I installed our 8500 on the visor with the optional visor clip.
