Default Horn Stopped working

Hello, I'm new to this forum but I hope that you can help me. My horn recently stopped working. I checked the fuse it seems to be fine. When I press the horn I hear a relay clicking, but I'm not sure if there I multiple relays involved. I cant really get to the actual horn because it seems that I need to remove a windshield wiper but I rather avoid it if its some other issue. Please note that It used to work like a charm. But about a week a go it stopped. The alarm still siren still works, Im not sure if they are related.

Thanks Any help would be appreciated

The horns are in the lower front grills...you can get to them with a little effort

Default The alarm activation "beep" horn is up by the windshield wiper, the

horns activated by pressing the center of the steering wheel are located behind the lower part of the front bumper. If the lower horns are the ones that have stopped working for you, that is pretty common. You can replace them by removing the front bumper, or some have been able to simply remove the lower grille piece(s) to replace them. You also have some amount of access to them from underneath the car with the belly pan removed.

The part numbers are:
8N0 951 221 (low tone)
8N0 951 223 (high tone)

Pretty sure someone has a write up on how to replace these but I did not see one in the FAQ.

Welcome to the forum!

Default Happened to my last car... Replaced them with hella supertones.

they were monstrously loud. I miss those things....

Some say you can get to the horns without removing the bumper but I found it easier just to take it off...

Default fairly common on the TT>>>

check the electrical leads as they can corrode. If that does not work, time to replace as noted below.....

I think on the 180, they are in front of the radiator (?) -- 225 is below the front bumper

Default you can get to the horns without removing bumper...through the lower end grills...

10mm nut and electrical connector. when i was swapping out my horn,i replaced the grills to the quattro sport ones...so did both at the same time.
