Default How about a wasted-bandwidth designation bug...??

Then the chatters could turn their "Show WB posts" on and those interested in more technical subjects and some OT would leave that designation unchecked. After a given period of time, the WBs would VANISH from the server.

An OT designation would be described as having some "socially redeeming content."

The WB designation would be for completely wasted bandwidth like "morning hellos," "i'm a clown too," and "hey, what should I name my dog?" posts.

(Don't get me wrong, I like clowning around, too, but sometimes the forum has been known to go a bit overboard - at least it appears that way to outsiders who are searching for an answer to a problem or just want to know more about their cars. )
