How to Access CD Changer Cable in Roadster
Just purchased Jeff Bipes' CD Changer audio adapter cable. Jeff (or anyone else), what is the best way to get to the CD Changer cable? I saw the CD Changer Technical bulletin for TT roadster and am trying to figure out best way to the cable. Do I just remove the center panel trim and subwoofer and will the cable be accessable? Or do I actually need to remove the left trim panel? Is the CD Changer cable on the right of the changer (towards the center speaker) or on the other side?

I need to add this in my instructions. Best way is to remove the gray folding trunk liner first...
Fold the front sections in.
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/trunk1.jpg">
You will need to unclip the rear section by lifting up on the corners.They are captivated by a pin/socket on each corner.
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/changercable2.jpg">
You may find that you will pull the pins away from the underside backing, no big deal.
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/trunk2.jpg">
Fold the rear section into the front folded pieces, turn the whole thing at an angle to get it out.
There is no other way to get this out.
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/trunk3.jpg">
Look on the top of the rear cubby, you will see a plastic plug.
You need to get under this plug to remove it.
I have the plugs removed, and do not put them back.
You can use a butter-knife, or another type of wedge to get behind it to pop it out
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/roadstertrunk2.jpg">
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/trunk4.jpg">
Once you get the rectangular rear cubby out, you can see the changer cable here.
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/roadstertrunk.jpg">
you can then punch a hole in the top of the cubby that is behind the driver's seat.

<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/trunk5.jpg">
<img src="http://jbipes.home.comcast.net/jpgs/trunk6.jpg">
Mount my adapter back here, plug the changer cable into it, and the cable from my adapter into the changer.
then you can rune the switch and audio cables from the cabin, into the cubby, and plug then into their ports on the adapter box.

Thanks Jeff, works perfectly!
Perfect instructions from you, as always. Took me 10 minutes and now I'm in musical heaven! My iPod sounds 10 times better with this connection than with my iTrip.
