Hi
I have a 1999 TT 1.8 Quattro and i have a tailgate which when its closed i have a bigger gap on one side so it looks like its not shut properly. it also rattles when im driving.
i was told to adjust the bump stops but i cant see how this is done. any suggestions welcome please.
thank you.

If they are the "threaded type, you turn them. If they are fixed; You shave them or shim them as appropriate.
