Default Probably less weight and less drivetrain loss for the Haldex

The Subaru system is more like the Tosen in terms of it always delivering power to both axles. It's less of a reactive system in that regard.
Implementation wise I think the Subaru system uses a viscous coupling, Haldex is a multi-plate wet clutch.
The upside to the multi-plate clutch setup is it's behavior can be modified via programming, I don't think the purely mechanical systems like Torsen or a viscous coupling can do that.

Doesn't Subaru have a way to change the front rear split ratio?

I can't remember if it's the Evo or STI that has that capability, maybe both?

Audi Torsen=Full time mechanical AWD, 50/50 split. Haldex is electronically engaged, 80/20

Default Yes. It does have a slight lag before it goes 50/50 (like a 1/8 rotation of front tire lag)..

Unless you get a race controller. Then for normal driving, it is 100:0 (aka Front wheel drive)
