How effective is Zaino in reducing swirls
How effective is Zaino in reducing swirls in the paint, I have an Amulet Red with way too many swirls courtesy of the dealership after they were instructed NOT to wash my car! I have used 3M Imperial Glaze and HD Cleanse without luck. I use either 100% cotton terry or %100 cotton flannel towels. I am going to order Zaino and try it.

I have an amulet as well...
but have not tried Zaino yet but from what I hear from most others is that it works great. Check my post further down with a link to Zaino's websight with pictures.

If you've already tried the 3M I doubt zaino can help as it is not abrasive....
I would try using the 3M glaze very carefully again in a small section and wax. I asked Sal Zaino months ago about certain swirls I had and he said to try his product but if necessary to use 3M polishing pad glaze. Honestly I had a really bad swirl on a left rear pillar and used some Kit Scratch Out very carefully. Removed my swirls and my paint in that area is better than new.

it's only 2 weeks old and if the light hits it right you can see the swirls...
but I'm ordering my Zaino on tuesday. Look at their swirl remover.

http://www.zainobros.com/index.shtml</a

I would approach the dealer after visiting a professional body shop....
as a couple of swirls are one thing but if someone went crazy with a buffing pad at the factory or elsewhere that's not right. Maybe a aftermarket fiberglass shop but not for new OEM paint on an expensive car. I would politely go off on them. This of course is if the car we are discussing is new. If it has been out of your hands anywhere and been "handled" that's another story.

swirls are scratches, I believe the zaino product is designed to mask optically not remove.
I may be off base but this is my impression as it is not abrasive. You may lessen the impression of the swirl but it will show back up with a thorough wax removing wash.

When you used the HD-Cleanse, how did you apply it? I didn't have swirls but I had alot of luck...

getting out scratches from the Denim Blue paint of my TT from the area when you drag your feet across the door jamb getting in the car. I just had to apply extra pressure to those areas and go over those spots a little more. I did not use a towel to apply the HD-Cleanse to the whole car though, I used the product you see in the attached photo which worked very well for me. They held a good quantity of the HD product once you got going so you did not have to use that much to do the whole car. I ended up using about 1/3 of a 16oz bottle to do the whole car. Also applied in straight lines like it said on the bottle (as often as possible anyways)
