How long from Build to delivery
 

Well, I have had my build confirmed as week 44, which I think equates to the begining of November. Does anyone know how long it normally takes to get from build to the UK?

How long did it take for the dealer to give you this information concerning built times??
Where they able to tell you when you put your deposit down or what?
I'm still waiting for info such as dates on build and delivery from my dealer after placing deposit :( Just don't know whats happening!?

4 to 10 weeks...
 

I called my dealer, I was scheduled for week 31. Computer says I am status "C" which is "released to production". It could be in that status for two weeks, so it might just have been released, or it might have been released two or three weeks ago. Bottom line is that I'm figuring anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks depending on where in "C" the car is at this moment. I'm in Boston, so port to dealer shouldn't be too long.

Put another way, I wouldn't send out invitations to a coming out party until the car is in-hand.

My original 225Q was due to be built week 40 and my dealer said 4 weeks equating to beginning of November so it sounds about right, however in my case the tables have flipped and someone has now pulled out with the exact same spec and I pick this one up on Wednesday!!!

The dealer said 6-12months when I ordered. They then have kept me updated regularly. All in all it will have been about 6 months when the car finally arrives! Not bad considering the normal wait time in the UK!
