Does this mean that I should wait 300-500 miles before I get my alignment done?

Default I'd get it done twice.....

reason being... if the alignment is way off, 300-500 miles is more than enough to get a wear pattern started on the tires... and from my experience, once that pattern is started, it doesn't seem to matter if you correct the alignment!

alignments are pretty cheap compared to tires!!!

have it done, and then in about 500 miles, have it rechecked and adjust if needed.

It would have to really be off for serious tire issues to occur that fast, no?

Default not really.....

It's not that you get sudden extreme tire wear... but it starts a wear pattern. And for some odd reason the tire will continue to wear in that pattern even after the alignment is fixed.

I've had this happen more than a few times!!! Especially if the toe is off....

Maybe my car was just weird though.. I'm just speaking from my experience.

Default I had mine aligned a few months back, but getting it done again next week...

...since I just put four new tires on yesterday. Don't want to take any chances!

Default Does that mean if you adjust the height on your coilovers.. you should get an aligment?

everytime?
