Default I am now the proud recipient of the horrible "door thinks it's open when it's not" problem :(

Just a month after I've paid the car off too, lol!

This started a few weeks ago and is driving me out of my mind (and my girlfriend too)!

I've looked on here and have seen that the usual cause is the door lock:
OEM part number: 8N1-837-015-C

Is there anything else that cause this?
Could this be the reason that my CEL has come on?

I'm planning on pulling fuse 37 in the mean time (I'll check to make sure that's the right one) so the horrid buzzing will stop.

Hey again everyone, I miss you guys! I hope you're all doing well.

Welcome to the club! :^) I doubt that's related to your CEL.

Do you have this problem presently or have you gotten it fixed? If so what did you have to do?

Default I've been slacking cos I haven't wanted to tear the door apart.

There are some posts buried someplace about replacing just the switch instead of the entire lock/latch assembly.
