Default I think I'm clever enough. I don't know where to find that sort of switch though.

I checked the link below but I don't see a part number or anything associated with the micro switch. Is this something I should be able to pick up at a Radio Shack or would I have to find a specific one online somewhere?

I figure... what the hell... if it doesn't work or if I mess it up, I'm still going to have to buy the $120 part to fix it, so I might as well try the $3 fix first, right?

Jeff's post on the micro switch.

Default I've been in and out of that club a few times!

My latest fix has been to spray the above mentioned microswitch with electronics parts cleaner. Did that about four months ago and it has been been holding up since!

Default Has anyone done it with an OEM microswitch instead.

Does the whole door have to come apart or somehow is there an easier way to get the switch/latch out.
