I got a big internship!! --need advice, kinda long--
I will be in Shanghai, China this summer working with FedEx Corporation doing I-don't-even-know-what-exactly-yet I'm so excited but also a bit nervous. Hopefully it's a big enough company and I do well enough to earn something more permanent when I graduate in December.
Now, to store my car for about two months:
-jack stands to avoid flat spots (is there an easier way?)
-battery tender, obviously
-volcano rocks and mothballs
-towels in air ducts/exhaust to deter critters
-a good coat of wax
I will be around 3k before I leave, but my mechanic told me to leave dirty oil in the car for the duration.
What about the fuel, should I fill it up to eliminate air in the tank?
I heard good things about seafoam, is that a good idea when I get back before I drive to my mechanic? Anyone have experiences with seafoam?
Any other general tips or advice? Thanks in advance!
