I guess Schwing's solution is the only way to go...

...when you're giving up your TT. I imagine that huge engine must be a blast, a nice distraction from the predecessor. But has it really prevented withdrawal? Or do you end up finding yourself longing for dimpled matte aluminum interior bits, or quattro drive on a wet hairpin turn?

InsaniTTy I tell you!

LOL

Steve changes cars like you change underwear. The fact that he owned the TT for 6 years speaks

volumes about his feelings for the car.

It'll serve him right when he wrenches his back during a 2nd to 3rd gear power shift...

Speaking for myself, I still love to drive the TT. I have had some of the premier performance cars of the day and the TT has a great balance of performance, looks and economy.

It is the Speedster of the new millennium.

I'll just be keeping mine..

"quattro drive in a hairpin turn"

hate to tell you, but the TT doesn't hold a candle to the C6 in the handling department. I've been schooled on the track by 'Vettes many a time.

He'll be back...pullin' a "roach" no doubt

LOL....I was bored...>>

Needed something different to mod..The TT was done. While I dearly loved that car, I'm basically running out of time for new experiences. Guess I needed to scratch an itch I didn't know I had...:-)

The Vette is pretty satisfying in a different sort of way. Lotsa Torque, ALL the time. I'll have it to 450hp when my intake mods are done, not that I've even come close to using but a fraction of that so far..

The interior is a nice envoirnment. Improved a lot this year. Not so bad, but not much metal!

As far as handling? Bilsteins, Z51 sways, and a few poly bushings here and there....It's Good...REAL good. Don't ever underestimate the handling of these cars.....Neutral, Flat, Balanced... You can put the traction control/ESP in what's called "Competition Mode" with the press of a button. It's got the ability to do whatever you want at that point...:-)

One of the most neutral handling cars i've ever driven...

Looks really good in milk carton white, unlike most cars.
