i have to confess that yesterday i considered moving on to a more practical vehicle
one that would carry me through the seasons and be more reliable..
this morning i went out to my car and it was sitting there in the dark garage waiting to be turned on.. i pulled it out of the garage and went to close the doors behind me (old fashioned swinging door garage) and as i walked back to the car, it spoke to me. It spoke to me like the first day i saw a tt, like the first day i saw my green car, like the first day i saw this one.
i'm in love and cannot be saved. i will own this car forever.

wait till you spend time driving other cars and come back to the TT>>>
while stock it is not a monster in the performance category, or any one category for that matter, it is the whole package when tuned correctly. It was definitely a vehicle created for form over function.
It is a shame Audi did not make the MK1 more of a sports car out of the box (like they did with the MK2), but in the same breath the trip with this car has created the love for it....
I too go through the occasional "what if"m but there is nothing that moves me....
Till i find my next love...here is to the MK1 TT....specifically, Ole' Red! ;-)
