Default I just got off the phone with shox.com... the guy had no idea how I would use half a kmac...?

I just ordered a new suspension set-up and told the guy I am buying 1/2 a kmac kit off of someone and that I wouldn't need a full kit. He said that makes no sense, and didn't understand how half a kit would work. I'm not sure how the kmac kit works, but I know a lot of us here only need a half a kit to get camber into spec.

Can anyone explain to me how this works? Does shox.com have no idea what they are talking about? I thought these guys were supposed to be the experts. He had no idea.

Default Here's how it works . . . (UPDATED)

Use one bushing on each side's lower control arm. It will effectively "pull" the lower arm in toward the center of the car, which makes the camber less negative.

If you used the KMAC bushings on the upper & lower arms, the top arm would be pushed out, too, which means you can correct camber that is even more negative (e.g., b/c the car is lowered more).

I know nothing about suspension, but don't you use 1/2 kit because you only do the rears?

Default He doesnt know what he is talking about it's an ecentric bushing

by turning it either pushes in or out thus adjusting the camber. One might need a whole kit but only if lowered 1.75" or greater

Got it, thanks. So does that have to be done to both front and back?

I'm sure he does, but he wants to sell full kits to all!
