I just installed my Red Boxes and I have a few questions
I had a hell of a time getting the rear pads on with the Piston not compressing. I tried to rotate the cylinder but it wouldn't budge. So I tried to compress it without rotating. In doing so the pad liners or I should say stickers were pushed off when sliding. Almost all of my adhesive did too! Will this create any problems? The front brakes were a cake! I might go back when I repaint my calipers and try to get more Brake Pad Adhesive in there. I did notice a very little (about 10% of stock noise) at low speeds (about three times in city driving 14 miles). Any advise or comments would be greatly appreciated!

You really need the tool with the notches and a way to create force as you turn.
I use a tool from ECS made specifically for this. I understand places like Autozone also sell the specific tool.
The rears on my VW's and TT are all much harder to push in than on the fronts of any of those cars.
I don't use any of the adhesive stuff. The Red Boxes are very quite and cause little dust.
