What size and brand should I get? Also can I go with a smaller size wheel like 17" or even 16" wheel?

Best to get a dedicated 17" wheel/tire set for winter. I
have Ronal R38 with Nokian winter tires. You can't beat the Nokians...absolutely fantastic. Incredible drive through a very bad winter last year. Nokians were so good I was tempted to leave them on for summer. Wait a while. Gary, the U.S. Ronal distributor often has winter wheel/tire packages (you can ask for Nokians) on sale here....or just email him at Ronal.

Thanks, I will check that site. Does the car need to be calibrated for the smaller wheels? Does the speedometer have any false readings?
