Default I think my blinker fluid is going bad <grin>. . . seriously though, something odd . >>

sometimes after using either turn signal, a rapid spasdic series of clicking noises follows, same noise as the turn signal, no blinking light though. Then it stops. Odd and annoying, I figure it must be something in the turn signal circuit, like I remember in the old days there used to be a flasher dohickey that could be replaced, but now I figure there's some sort of onboard oscillator making the noise, and haven't a clue about what or where. Any ideas or recommendations ? Haven't talked to dealer yet. Ha ! Blinker fluid indeed !

Default Hazard switch. It's where the "flasher dohickey" lives. No fancy "onboard oscillator" used for the

flasher circuit. Might want to check the status of your dilithium crystals, though ; )

Default Yep, it's the hazard relay. Have someone pull the radio for you and replace it yourself. easy

Here's SparTTan's writeup: <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1193292.phtml">TT FAQ</a>

I bought the radio removal tools from 42DraftDesigns, and it served me well, but others have had a helpful car audio tech pull it for them.

It's a 10 minute job.

Default Happened to me too >>

Thought it was the hazzard relay (generally a good place to start), but it turned out to be the signal stalk. Someone else here had the same problem. I'd still start with the hazzard switch though...

Default Simple fix yet... my indie couldn't get the radio out in 15 min of trying

so they want me to take the car back in, leave it for a day so they can remove the glovebox to get to the back of the radio and push it out?

I'm like WTF? Can't you just buy the darn radio removal tool? It's a stock radio for goodness sake!
