I am installing a K-40 radar /laser in-dash installation Want to use the small grid in dash for the piezo speaker but dealer says this is used for climate control. Is this correct? and if so Does anyone think if this grid was used as a speaker grid, it would screw-up the climate control functions? The installer has my pod apart as I write this.

I think the temp sensor is directly behind grill above temp readout. You can see it in there (nt)

Mne: Your Right, but there is a load a space behind there. My speaker will be about an inch away from the grill that I think will still allow air to flow thru enough. It's just the ideal spot for a small speaker for the radar/laser alert.
