Default An idea... need some feedback

I'm doing the headlight mod this weekend and this is what I'm thinking (be nice... don't flame me)...

I like the look of the lighter grey housing, especially on the curvy interior part of the housing around the lights, but don't care for it around the parking light strips. I'd also like the housing to match the other black parts on my front end. So, what if I were to only paint the interior part of the housing with the lighter grey (color matched white would be too much of a contrast), leaving the parts against the lenses painted black.

I don't have Photoshop on this workstation, and don't have a clear enough headlight picture to use. Does anyone want to give it a shot?

Default I'd give my 2 cents worth, Vince ...

but I killed too many brain cells last night. Seriously, I'd go white.

Default Sounds interesting Vince - We all end to personalize our cars to various degrees>>

So I say go for it. I agree that the white may be too much (for me). It works on some cars (Steve?) but I've seen a couple of TTs here over the years with white and I'm not in love.

Of course I happen to be a fan of Amulet Red! :-)

Default Go all white or maybe reverse of what you're talking about...

...here's the body color outside with black inside - kinda cool imo. Your idea might actually look better since the black will hide the seems around the lights. wtf - go for it, you can always paint over it : )

Default The Vette guys...>

Are swapping light colors around too...They just haven't figured out how to paint the ones they have yet, so they buy/trade complete assemblies since they're color matched to the body color. Silver on the white looks pretty good from what I've seen......

I agree. Body colour outside, grey or black inside.
