If anyone has driven both the 225 hp TT and the new S4 post some opinions (more)
i have an S4 right now but i nicked a curb in the snow the otherday and i think i messed up my suspension. If it dosent feel right after i get it fixed i may consider a 2hp TT
will i be dissapointed
I have owned two previous modified A4s before my S4 and have loved them all.
Comments on the different "quattro" system also are wanted.
Thanks
Peter

I've driven a 225hp TT and own an S4.. (more inside)
Without a doubt, the S4 eats the 225hp TT alive -- even without a chip. Another turbocharger and .9 more liters of displacement go a long way in creating power. The TT had a huge amount of turbolag down low, whereas the S4 has borderline on none.
In the TT's defense, the 225hp car I drove was a pre-production prototype with a green button on the dashboard that said "nicht aus." =)
Hope this helps.

Own a 225q and drove an S4 around Donnington -
I drove an S4 around Donnington (A very twisty UK race track) this year for a whole day as part of the Quattro driving experience. I completely agree with the torque thing, the S4 has serious amounts, so much that you look behind you for the big hand pushing you forward, it really is a rapid car. We were seeing well over 100MPH without trying and the noise of the V6 at full power in second gear makes the hair on you neck stand in end.
However in my humble opinion the TT has it for fun, it goes round bends and communicates with you a lot more than the S4. Okay it isn't as fast in a straight line but around tricky bends it feels more alive and I would say feels/corners faster, although I cannot do a back to back comparison...Not this year anyway.
