If one were to buy coilovers over shocks
Would you still need to buy springs? If not what do you do with the stock springs?

ummm....not exactily
You have to remove both the shocks and the springs. In the front they are coilovers, but in the rear the shocks and the springs are seperate. Sorry if this is a little picky.. :-)
