My Raven Black Pearl Effect/ebony Quattro came in on Friday. Before I got the message, I read about the cornering "problem." I decided to wait for December production and went to talk to my dealer. The car was in and he had left me a message while I was on my way.

The dealer said he thought it was garbage, but said he would give me until Sat to make sure of what I wanted to do. I called Audi and figured out that the ESP will not be availible on US cars in December. I had figured that it would be worth a three month (or so) wait for ESP. But not indefinate!

I went back Sat and drove it around. Great drive and the visibility is fine without a passenter which had been the case when I went out with the salesman.

So I was planning on going to the bank today, signing the papers and picking it up afterward.

But the bank is closed for Columbus Day!!!!!

Tell us about the Raven Black and how similar or different it looks to the Brilliant Black. Better yet, can you post pictures?

Why doesn't Audi release photos of colors other than the introductory three? It would seem like an easy and customer-sensitive thing to do; who knows, maybe someone would get excited and order a new car.
