I'm looking for a car cover for my TTRoadster... Any suggestions?
I'm sure someone out there has a favorite car cover. Please share why... I thinking I would like something I could easily fold into the trunk.

There are a few good options...
1. Audi's cover... people have been very happy with this one (225TTR & MichaelTT both have this one and they have showroom quality cars)
2. OcTTober uses the Noah fabric, Covercraft cover (www.calcarcover.com I think is where he bought it) for his garaged TT to keep dust and dings away. It is waterproof but bulky.
3. o2bnme uses the weathertech fabric, Covercraft cover (www.calcarcover.com is where I bought it) for his non-garaged TT to keep rain off it. Bill also has a noah he puts on top of the weathertech fabric in case of hailstorms.
Oh, I can't remember if weathertech really is the fabric of my cover... imagine a very lightweight rain jacket. 100% waterproof and so small I take it with me even if I'm strapped for space (on long trips).
I kind of ruined my Noah fabric cover by allowing the wind to drag it across my deck. It now has wood splinters in the batting. :-( Only used as a second layer...never touches the paint.

Re: I'm looking for a car cover for my TTRoadster... Any suggestions?
I have a WeatherShield Fabric custom cover made by CoverCraft (one of the largest custom fabricators) and purchased from AutoAnything.com at a very competitive price. It's very thin, light, and can be machine washed at home. Four year warranty. It is waterproof, not just water repellant, and will retain less than 2% moisture on the surface, allowing it to be folded in the car without worry about dampness. It is also dustproof. It will not give any ding protection. It was ideal for me with a carport instead of a garage. When rain blows in along with stuff from my large oak trees, nothing gets through to the car and I can simply hose it off while on the car to remove dust and tree stuff.
If you don't care about ding protection, WeatherShield is the best out there right now, IMHO.
Hope this helps.

Weathershield! That's the fabric I have... I keep forgetting!!
I wholeheartedly agree that Weathershield is the best option if you don't need to worry about ding protection. It packs down to practically nothing, which was a key criteria for me.
