Default I'm sorry but F!@#!!!!

I got the OSIR ring/****.

The ring fits horribly, I tried doing it right, wrong, upsidedown, backwards... the holes are just plain OFF. My **** came with NO set screws, and the little connectors they provide you with... well one of them didn't have a spade in it. I had to go to wal-mart and get some to get it to work, and IT DOESN'T WORK.

I don't see how connecting 4 wires to 2 other wires is hard, but this is the biggest PAIN IN THE *** that I've ever experience with this car.

Thank you for letting me vent.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that when I first took the **** out of the box, the little resistor that they covered with the black shrink wrap... well, that came un soldered...

Seriously. My car is torn to shreds inside and the thing still doesn't work..

I don't even know what to try next...

Default IT GETS BETTER.

I'm an idiot, I tried testing the **** by plugging the wires from the **** directly into the socket...

And I blew a fuse...

Can't find a blown fuse in the panel... it says "fuse" above my mileage in the cluster.... I'm officially done for tonight.

FML.

Default Sorry for your pain, but contact the vendor or manufacturer.

My first OSIR LED ring failed. I emailed Riso and he sent me a new one, free. Has worked great for years and looks really cool at night.

Do NOT over-tighten the ring bolts. I think that causes them to fail.

For now, it is best to put back your OEM parts and sort this out later.

OSIR ring and Raffi **** install

Default True, I'm just frustrated.

I guess I'll contact TTStuff.com...

I always assume I'm just doing something wrong, but there really isn't a way to mess this up...

Honestly, this stuff looks used... hopefully I can get it exchanged.

Default Update.

I blew a 5amp fuse, it just took me a while to find it.

That is fixed, but I'm back to square one.

The wires are ran, the ring is on, the **** is attached, they just aren't lighting up.

Default Mine was a pain too>

What I did was put the bolts through the top OEM piece, then the ring... then i was able to feed them into the holes

I wasn't impressed with the way it was made either, but I made it fit

For $80 for a piece of plastic and LED's they really did a **** job

Default Weird. OSIR's stuff is generally top notch. I wonder if things are different on the TTs over there.

I know that was a problem with the gas pedal thingamy.

Default After a few hours of sleep....

I've been reviewing the pictures of the install.

Basically, I know the brown wire goes to the black wire(s) (**** and ring) and the blue goes to the red wire(s)

This is correct, right?!
