Induction Masters I need help. Anyone tried this "Wak's Power Induction Kit"?

This seems to be extremely simple and cost virtually nothing. Any drawbacks? Would intake temperature rises since it seems to be suck more air from inside the engine bay.
Thanks!

People have been ventilating airboxes forever....This'll get you a little more (Hot) air, but is not the ideal solution. You want to keep the heated air out, and provide smooth paths for fresh air.

actually, all you would need is to open up the inlet portion...
the snorkel portion. Cut as a large of an opening, and use some flex hose as the new snorkel. Insert into wheelwell, and all done!

I know this may not be the preferred way of modifying the box but the sound is awesome if you want to add 2 cylinders and not make it nose heavy its a great mod.
We dont have the benefit of your hot temps over there so I cant comment on its effect in the US but its cheap to try out $40 for a new box I guess.
I have had no problem with it and would not go back to a stock box with the sound it makes.
These were done with the box and are pretty respectable figures with no sign of the box mod causing any losses. ( I have a few other mods too )
290bhp 300+ pounds of torque
You will love the V6 noise...
I have added a TTSchwing type of cold air feed and scoop to the stock box and also changed the 1st version cheap tin hose to a nice spring loaded air ducting.
p.s. that run was with outside temps of 5 degrees C.
We ran this weekend at 18 degrees C 275bhp and 320 pounds of torque....but this included DV shimming sports cats K&N panel filter since the winter run.

RR power run
