INPUT NEEDED GARRETT TURBO KIT

Wait for all the gt28rS kits to come out
 

Software I would guess will be coming pretty soon, Although you can buy the hardware kit now(from ATP) I would wait for the software from the various companies.(that way you can go with whatever they use for the injectors and pump) and you'll be looking at alot more bang for the buck (300whp+) and great torque. Look at vortex, they have lots of posts lately about the GT28RS and even one guys somewhat custom car dyno.

Be sure to keep in mind the other things you probably will want to upgrade also though (fmic,clutch,hpa gear set?). So I would guess at least 3k minium and more depending on what other things you add on and wether you do it yourself or not.

btw, your caps lock key is on - you on AOL?

I think alot of 1.8Ts in the 1.8T challenge use GT30R instead

So why on earth would anyone buy a kit from APR/OTC etc.... ???? And yes I knew my caps was on.... lol

Downpipe won't fit... some other stuff will need to be fabbed up...

ATP has a kit with GT28RS.

rumor(? vortex thread) is apr will be changing or adding the gt28rs for their stage 3
 

And at the moment they do have software that comes with their full blown high quality kit wich uses the a differnt turbo. If you want it today go ahead, nothing wrong with it and there are probably lots of other reasons but for my desires I wouldnt know as I wont be falling into that category.

The full monty for the gt28rs isnt out yet, Yes you can do it if you know and want to play with the fueling but as of the moment the APR,Revo big turbo, or GIAC software isnt out as far as I know to purchase yet. (Unless you were one of the lucky few guinea pigs)

FYI: Garrett sells ATP kits. Do some research on ATP's software.

APR manofild where cylinders 1/4 don't mix with cylinders 2/3, complete proven kit with software, EMCS, 91, 93, 100, 104, valet programs, did I mention the manifold?
