Default Install iPod in 2001 TTC w/ Disk Changer?

I would like to try and install my iPod in my baby but don't want ugly cables and any drilling? Any help out there?

Default How ugly do you want it to be? Right now, it's not 'Plug and Play'.

We have been discussing this for sometime here. You need to splice into some cables at the head unit, or at the CD Changer. You can get power to the iPod from a modified FireWire cable.
You can take the output of the iPod into the head unit, but it involves 'cutin' and splicin'.
Want details?

Default Check my posts below, the one "if you have a CD Changer"...

You could wire this input to the head unit, right at the head unit. I did this and it works. You could provide a small 1/8" stereo mini jack coming out of the front console area, as well as a connector for the power. A switch would control the input to the head unit, switching between the cd changer and the iPod.

Wait for my post tomorrow, on where and how to mount the iPod.
(You loose the ash tray.)
