Interior Light Problem
I have a 225TTR and occassionally (not always) the interior light stays on even if it's on/off switch is in the middle position and all the doors are closed (when it should dim and go off). When this is going on I have to put the switch in the "off" position to turn the light off, even if the doors are closed. Anyone have a similar problem or know what might be causing it? A fuse perhaps?<p>"Nunc est Bibendum"

It's a ground problem. The solution is....
to get your dealer to resolve the grounding issue.
A quick fix is to ensure you have closed the doors BEFORE you turn on the ignition...and don't lock the doors until AFTER you have turned the ignition on.

mine does it also- last time I played around and noticed the power door locks
didn't function also. Locking and unlocking the car by the remote seems to reset mine. I called AUDI and they have no reports, so call and complain. I figure taking to dealer is waste of time as problem is so infrequent. Total of 4 times in 2 months.

TT doesn't like you to open passenger door with the engine running . . .
I have found that if I shut the engine off before letting a passenger in that the light problem does not occur. Someone posted a month ago that this could be fixed by an ECU chip update by the Audi dealer.<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/PorTTlandSig.jpg">
