Interior Light Problem
This same thing has occurred a few times on my 180 coupe, usually when I leave the doors open for an extended period of time.
A fix that always works for me:
Get in the car and close the doors, leaving the ignition off.
Lock the doors with the console switch. The light should go out in a few seconds.
Start the engine, turn it off and exit the car and close the doors and lock them with the remote.
The light should go out immediately when the doors lock.
I know all this sounds silly but if followed exactly seems to put everything back into the proper sequence.
