Interior motion sensor
The interior motion sensor on my TTR seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it works great, other times not at all. Yesterday I could have stolen a watermelon off the floor of the car if I had wanted to. Other times I just lean into the car a bit and it sets off the alarm.
How do I tell if the "off" button under that center slider panel is really off? Is there some sort of display somewhere? The manual makes me think it should light up or something when it's turned off, but I can't see any indication anywhere whether it's on or off. Does it get reset when the car is turned on/off again?
Any guidance thankfully accepted, because I always leave my top down in parking lots (since it's too much of a pain in the *ss to remove the boot each time I want to raise the top).

There is a lil red light in the upper left of the "off" button. When on,
the motion sensor is off. Your door must be open in order to disable the sensor. If you push it with the door closed, nothing happens... In my coupe, I have to push it all the time so that my TT dawg doesn't set the alarm off...

If I remember correctly the motion sensor takes about 45 seconds to become active after you lock the car.
On the button is a little rectangular red light that lights up when you press the button, indicating that the motion sensor is off. No other indicator.
It automatically resets each time you unlock the car.
