Ipod my Audi TT
HI I have a 2002 Audi TT quattro. Does anyone know of the ideal interface to use for your Audi TT that can be played through the headset of your stereo? Not interested in the fm transmitters. Looking for the best product that can be plugged into the back of the stereo.

Ditch the iPod and get a PhatNoise, ditch the radio and get one that is made
for iPod integration, or get the Audi iPod integration kit...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1419249.phtml">iPod adapter kit in the FAQ...</a></li></ul>

Not to be rude, but...
That's retarded. :^P
Then you would need 2 entire copies of your music collection on your computer, one to feed the iPod & one to feed the Phatnoise. Not to mention the expense of the hardware. Or that it won't play any protected AAC files you might have from iTunes. Or that the software is Windows only.

Keep in mind that iPod's will freeze up with excessive heat, like a car interior. I've mostly luck
ed out and mine will still play when it's hot enough to burn me, but my wife's locks up all the time. neither on of us can take it out of the car while we're at work.
She uses the Monster Icarplay FM modulator, which I found was awful for the TT (raido reception was ttoo good).
I use an Alpine headunit and iPod controller. Which works great but I swear I'm going to wreck the car someday from looking at the screen...
