Default ipod situation
hey guys, whe i bought my tt i discovered that my cd changer was broken,the car has the bose system and instead of fixing the changer i would like to use an ipod instead, i dont want any wireless modulators b/c the sound quality will be poor. how can i get the ipod to work by using rca cables or someting of that nature. p.s. i am trying to avoid icelink.

Find Jeff Bipes...he makes an adapter that connects to the changers plug

Default or blitzsafe adapter...
I'm pretty sure this is where I got mine. I converts the left and right into the CD changer. Works perfectly. Radio shows track 99 and you just scroll thru your ipod to play. I also got a firewire cable from Jeff that connects to the phone port on the tunnel that powers the ipod. Sweet setup. Talk to Jeff about it. He's a good guy.

yeah, but I think that you need a working changer for it to work.

Default Nope - the cable will not be broken, just because his CD changer
doesn't work does not mean Jeff adapter will not.

you could use my adapter with the broken changer, or the BlitzSafe adapter

the same people who make stinger car stereo accessories make an adapter that will plug into your changer cable and will charge the ipod and give you ipod control from radio itself works well
