It's been a while so...FISH TANK update :)
I got home last night from New York and our Strawberry Crab was out of his shell at night for a little molting action...So I snapped this shot with the lights off and a flash...not the best but I was tired. You can see his big shell off to the right and if you look close you can see his little brother, the blue hermit crab on the left.
Well, after a peek this morning the inevitable happened... My agressive tank isn't set up to handle this type of transformation...This bad boy is tearing him apart as we speak :) This pic taken last night as well...he's growing up nicely. He's a Niger Trigger...not sure if I've ever posted him before but he's usually camera shy...I've had him all year and he basically owns the tank. A great swimmer to watch. Back to your regurally scheduled posts...I'll have some more OT stuff coming up as soon as I get some more time, now off to lunch. |
tsk, tsk... triggers eat everything...

I have new fish pics coming soon-- New Naso tang and juvenile Chevron tang have been in the reef about two weeks now. :-) |

Actually...that's a blue hermit I've had for the life of this tank (2 years) and he's gotten
so big he pimps now in a deceased red hermit shell...like rolling in a cadillac with twenty-twos!
