Default I've got a couple of problems with my TT.

First off, it looks like my TT has developed the gas guage problem. I've got about 120 miles used on my current tank of gas right now. Yesterday afternoon, it told me the tank was completely full, which I know was wrong. Later on in the evening, the guage started saying my tank is completely empty, but the miles-to-go thing says I have about 300 miles left...Both of which are wrong. The guage is still showing empty this morning. Is there a quick fix for this, or does it need to be taken in? It's the fuel sending unit, right?

My second problem...I was informed last night that my driver's side parking light is out. However, the blinker over there still works. What's up with that? It looks like the passenger's side just uses one light, but then again, I haven't actually looked in there to see if that is the case. Replacement lights are free from the dealer while under warranty, right?

Default Re the light, I don't know, but it could be a dual-element bulb.

I do believe light bulbs are included in your bumper-to-bumper.

Default my driver's side parking light was out, but the blinker still worked...

fixed now...take it to your dealer, but note: they didn't have the right bulb in stock and had to order it.

There are *two* bulbs in there....my dealer didn't stock...tell 'em which one to order in advance.

Default gas gauge...

This is also a widely-reported problem in the A6. My fuel indicator started acting similar to yours about 6 months ago, but then returned to normal and has been normal since. The only explanation I have is that I've been consistently using the same fuel: Exxon super. I also use Cheveron Techron additive every 5K miles. I don't know if this has eliminated the 'deposit' problem, but the sender seems to be working normally.

Default Alright...Thanks for the help. They make it sound like the bulbs are in stock.

...Stop in job for the light and service is scheduled for the gas guage.

Default same here...

Went haywire last January, then returned to normal 4 to 6 months later...

But, I did get a 'hiccup' in the gas guage reading just a couple of weeks ago on one drive home. Tank was half empty when I left home. When I arrived back home, it had gone up to 4/5s somewhere along the drive.

Back to normal since then, again.

Default I'm going back for the 3rd and last time to fix my gas gauge.

I'm told it's not the sender but the instument cluster.

Default gas gauge, me too...

Just had Huntingdon Audi replace the sensors at both ends, gauge was reading full all the time. Now it reads wrong. Unless I suddenly started getting 30 miles a gallon, or they put in a 20-gal tank . . . . OK, OK, will go back. Annoying.
