I'm burning through $$ like there is no tomorrow in mods and really don't want to replace the whole stock blows stereo....but the low end really has something to be desired...can you just install a larger amp and install in exsisting spot?

Thanks

Default It sounds like this is only a minor improvement in low end??

I am looking for real "punch" not overpowering, 2 to 3x exsisting... That oem amp LMAO....that is just too cute...should use it for a key chain.

Default Yea, with the stock amp, it's only a minor improvement...

You could wire in a small mono power amp here.
the line-outs from the H/U are present at this so-called "mini-amp".
Using a better 8" sub, like hte Fosgate will help also.

Default Here's what I did...

I kept the front end and put two new Thunder amps in the trunk. The front and read speakers were replaced with ADS. A special fiberglass enclosure was built to hold a Memphis 8 inch subwoofer. Now that added enough kick in the low end range.
