nancy if you pay for my car to be repaired I will show you how a TT will slide off the road
Its all driver.. You can be in awd, fwd, or rwd and if you **** up you will crash, its that simple.. lol.. I can't believe I even have to explaint this one.. Yes, an S2000 is harder to drive and easier to **** up in because its rear wheel drive.. Harder to drive? Somewhat, it just requires a different style of driving.. I didn't get a corvette simply because with the way I am I don't have that style.. If I was mature enough to drive a car like that I would have got it, but Im not.. Same thing with the TT, because its awd and turbo you have to drive it a different way to extract everything out of it.. Why didn't you hear about lots of TTs crashing? I don't know the answer to that one.. maybe most TT owners baby their car and never push it to the limits.. Maybe most TT owners bought the car because its cute.. Or maybe TT owners don't have video cameras in my car so you didn't see the crash on the internet.. maybe more kids that aren't prepared for a fast rwd car are buying S2000s.. You honestly think that just becuase you heard more S2000 accidents then TTs that the TT handles better? lol.. no an S2000 doesn't handle better then a TT, and nor does the lotus elise or lotus elan because they aren't awd.. lol.. ****, give anyone that can't drive for ****, an elan and see what happens when he pushes it too far.. lol.. Oh yeah, FYI, a lotus elan/elise is one of THE best cars for the track.. why? lightweight, and handles great.. guess what.. its not awd either..

oh i'm sure a TT will slide off the road quite easily
(not if I were driving it, but that's another story) ;-p hehehehe
c'mon, you threw a blanket statement out there and didn't like another handed back to you? (uhhhh it's sarcasm!) <giggle> Just a coupl'a notes though; you don't need to explain anything to me, i do understand the differences between awd, fwd and rwd vehicles, their handling characteristics and driver ability, and please (if you don't mind) don't swear at me, m'kay?

sorry.. You just see posts on here
and honestly, I didn't think you were being sarcastic, because I KNOW people on this forum think that way.. People don't understand that every car requires a certain style of driving, they think awd is the best and with it, your instoppable/unstoppble.. Even at my first auto-x event I knew I had to take into account lag as I was walking the course.. I picked my lines, then started to think about how lag will effect my chosen lines, what gear I need to be in, what speed I will probably be entering the turn, how I can use awd to my benifit.. its just soo funny how I had to change the way I looked at a course by simply going from a Nissan maxima to a TT.. youd think that it would be easier to race a TT, but its not.. there was a whole lot more going through my head on that first walk through then I ever had to deal with when I raced the maxima..
