Default negative ghost rider. i've tried screwing with all sorts of stuff>>

like holding the clutch in the whole time, starting and then immediately letting the clutch out, turning wheel both ways during the noise. only thing that seems to have any influence is whether or not the climate control is in the "on" position. it won't EVER make the noise if the CC is left off, but as soon as you pull the switch (if the car hasn't run more than a minute or so), bingo, there it goes. then it's done. won't make it again until it sits for another night. haven't tried touching the brakes when it's doing it... maybe i'll try that... haven't started it yet, kinda chilly, possibility is there...hmmm. thanks case

Check your belts. It could be the drive belt for the A/C compressor

Default Sulu here, Captain. We seem to be in uncharted territory.

You're telling me the dealer can't figure it out either?

Sounds (no pun intended) wierd.
