Default Just back from the ACNA Frank Beddor Nationals at Infineon Raceway

had an absolute blast. Hung out with Bruce, Steve, Steve, Tim and a host of others. Here's a shot of GofasTT, rasTTa and Xclr8TT getting ready for the first day of track events. Followed by a pic of Bruce's ALMS and my TT at the end tonight packed and ready for home. Last shot is 4 of the 8 R8's they have at the Audi Sports Car Experience at Infineon. They're running tomorrow for a full day. Also got to see and drive the new S5 around a bunch of cones. Look for full coverage of the nationals on Fourtitude.com and the next issue of Quattro Quaterly.

Default MUCH better looking inside and out in person.......

as far as performance - we had two measly laps of a big set of cones so it's no way to measure it's performance. Acceration on the straight in 2nd gear so ok - car is so smooth it's hard to gauge how fast it is. Of course I'd just come off the race track after a session in the TT so everything felt slow :-)

Default Ironically, I got to sit in one today shortly after my above post.

I went out to the local dealership to order a new N75 in hopes of fixing my overboosting problem. They had one in a dolphin gray-type color with a red interior. I thought it was absolutely fabulous. I asked him if it had the 4.2L V8 and he didn't know. Nor did he know how much it weighed.

It's lighter than an S4 by about 100 lbs or so IIRC
