<center><img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v26/photos/6/66370/266845/Picture069-vi.jpg"></center><p>This is just a trial run...better material is on the way and it matches my existing grille.
Then all my openings will look uniform...

The outside is almost finished....whew!

Default hey marcus -- how they hell did you fab that up?

i would like to do the same (i have the 3.2 front end w/ caractere grill), but i hadn't come across a good way to fab up surrounds for the mesh so it would fit/look right. any insight would be appreciated.

(i have some extra mesh from a previous caractere grill i had)

Default The mesh I used was thin enough to be able to used truck door edging and some bondo to clean up the

joints...
Just cut out a duplicate of the plastic grills outta my mesh and got to working

Default Yep...just like that..the truck stuff is longer so is better

for longer runs like the lower grille without having a bunch of joints in it...

Default couple more questions >>

how do you fix the grill with it's new fabbed up frame to the bumper? is it a pressure/friction fit? are you glueing it?
