I'm in the market for something wider and lower profile than stock. Will 235/40s fit on an 18x8? I have S-line suspension, so I'm just a little lower than stock. Thanks.

Default I'll up the bid to 235/40/18 Falkens on 8.5" 5Zigen wheels........

The 225/40/18 tires were too narrow for the 8.5" wheels. The wheels stuck out past the tires. The 235s only give me a 1.7% speedo error (doing 71 when it reads 70 mph). In retrospect I should have gone with the 245/40/18 which would have resulted in a 3% speedo error (doing 72 when indicating 70 mph). The tires would have fit the wheels perfectly then. They're still not wide enough for the 8.5" wheels. EdgeRacing adviced me not to go that wide, and like a fool, I listened to them.
The enclosed chart tells you everything you always wanted to know about measures & fitting (my) tires; the Falken ZiexZE-512 tires. You can, of course, find similar charts for other tires.
