the lady's voice...she annoys me.
Is there a way to turn it off. Guess I have to RTFM.

Only issue I have is the mounting. Where are the brackets? Didn't get any at all. I thought I would receive brackets for the VW model I ordered (which was the Passat I think. For now I'm using sponges to keep everything in place.

Any ideas?

Default in your setup when you connect the cartridge to comp, ...>

you can turn on/off his/her voice.
also you should update the firmware, eliminates some issues, like inconsistent bass/treble etc.

Some great options, like song announce (which would get annoying) can be turned on and off in the setup options....

Default It wouldn't be so bad if she read the artist names correctly...

it takes getting used to.

I don't miss the cd changer at all and can still use the in-dash cd slot. Pretty cool

Default Go to phatnoise.com forums.

They detail how to change voice and where to get others.

Default Phatvoice

Not tried it (as I don't have mine installed yet), but this site looks to explain how to change the voice

Phatvoice
