Default Just got an '02 ALMS Edition TT (Misano Red)!!!

For the past year or so I had been on the lookout for a TT like this and I finally found one. It has just over 20k miles on it with a few scratches and rock chips. There is also a problem with one of the rails the roof rack mounts to. It appears that the aluminum has begun to corrode beneath the paint causing it to bubble. I was wondering if anybody else has seen this happen to a TT? Thankfully the dealer (Autohaus Lanc.) has agreed to replace it free of charge along with a curbed wheel. Overall though the car is in great shape from what I can see.

This is also my first manual car, but from just the one time I've really had it out I love it even though I stalled it a few times. It definitely beats the h*ll out of an automatic. It's safe to say that I'm already in love with the car and the mod bug has begun to bite. I'm looking forward to a lot of good times with this car.

Default Great...welcome!..>>

The roof rails you speak of are made of aluminum. The bubbling is from poor paint prep at the factory. Not totally unusual...

Default Congrats! Seems like yesterday I was at my dealer and he had both ALMS colors sitting ............

for over 6 months with no sale. I picked a new '02 roadster instead.
